Who are we?
Bikers4Life is an organisation run by a group of bikers who wanted to help to raise some funds for the treatment of Cancer and Leukemia patients in Beaumont Hospital. We aim to raise funds though running organised and sponsored ride-outs
Why Cancer & Leukemia Treatment in Beaumont?
There are many reasons for us to choose to support this great cause, however the inspiration to do it was first based on the personal experience we had in June of 2006 when one of our members (Primal) was diagnosed with Leukemia. The amazing treatment and care he recieved at the hands of the amazing staff at Beaumont Hospital is what spurred us on to try to give something back.
For this reason, Stormbringer (who is Primal's father) decided that using a common love for motorcycles would be a great way to help raise funds for this great cause.
Shortly after coming across the fantastic biker community over at http://www.biker.ie, and seeing the great work they had already done raising money for other needy causes, it was decided that we would mobilise the community and organise the inaugural Bikers4Life ride out.

On this website Primal will also be posting a personal blog over time which will contain an insiders view on the treatment of Leukemia in particular. This section will follow in time and will be updated regularly as Primal is still being treated.
Your chance to Make a Difference!
There are many ways which you can help our cause. If you are a biker, the most obvious way would be to take part in one of our ride outs. If you are involved in a bike club, perhaps you could tell some of your club mates too. Be sure to order some sponsorship cards to help with raising funds.
We will soon be accepting online donations via PayPal. More about this soon.
We need as much media coverage as possible for our organisation, so if you work in the media or would like to suggest our organisation to a media company, please feel free to do so. Our contact information is readily available on this website for any questions you may have.
When is the next Bikers4Life run?
Our inaugural event will take place on the 4th of August 2007. Details of the exact route will be posted shortly.
